Maintenance: Clean only when necessary, ideally by hand. Allow to air dry.

Depending on the composition of the different items of clothing, they may be likely to foam when washed or when licked by cats, due to their rough tongues. Knitted wool effect fabrics are more at risk.
Every cat is different, one fabric might work well for one, but not for another. The hat may take some getting used to.
